Two secluded communities can be found within Monterey and across the street in The Crossings. Both are located on Orange Blossom Drive in a quiet area of North Naples that is very convenient to 5th Avenue South, Bonita Springs, I-75, shopping, and schools. These communities have become extremely popular and rarely will you find a Monterey or Crossings resident who does not rave about the advantages of the two neighborhoods.
Monterey is a gated community with a 24-hour manned security gatehouse. It features attached villas and totally freestanding villas, plus a larger single-family section, and many of the residences are lakefront. Near the entrance is a clubhouse with kitchen and a very nice and spacious family room/party room that can be used by residents for a small fee. Other amenities include a small workout room, Olympic proportioned pool, and three lighted Har-tru tennis courts.
The Crossings only consists of single-family homes, along with a small clubhouse, pool, and two Har-tru tennis courts. Some of the homes are located on cypress preserve areas, providing a tranquil, natural setting. The community is divided into two sections, each with an electronic gated entry.
